Short version
No ads, no trackers, and we don't sell your data. We never see your Steam password.
Looking at stats
No account needed. Stats come from public Deadlock match data, so anyone can look up any player. Our host, Cloudflare, handles the traffic and may keep standard technical logs.
If you sign in with Steam
We get your public Steam account number. Against it we keep your seeds and their history, the looks you own and wear, the links you add to your page, and your match results for quests.
Two cookies keep you signed in. Your browser also remembers a few settings on your device.
The app
Recordings, clips and settings stay on your computer. If you link the app to your account, it sends finished match results and quest activity, like a recording or a saved clip, so you can earn seeds.
If you connect YouTube, your sign-in is stored encrypted on your computer, and videos go to your own channel. If you send a clip to Clip of the Week, it is posted in our Discord and we keep its hero, note and date.
YouTube and Google data
If you connect YouTube, you choose to let the app upload the videos you export to your own channel and read your channel's name, so it can show you which channel is connected. It only uses your own channel. Disconnect it any time in the app, or at your Google account.
Cursed Apple's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only for these features, isn't sold or shared with anyone else, isn't used for ads, and isn't read by people unless you ask us to or the law or security requires it.
Deleting your data
Email us and we will delete what we keep against your account. Uninstalling the app removes the app, and your recordings stay until you delete them. Public match data isn't ours to delete.
